ACADEMICS RESULTS

CLASS X

196 students appeared in the examination and 42 students scored above 90% marks, 66 between 80 to 90%

  • KartikKohli topped the school with 96.4%
  • Shreya Kumar Tyagi stood 2nd with 95.5%
  • Mudit Mittal stood 3rd with 95.4% marks.

CLASS XII

In all 112 students appeared in the ISC Class (XII) examination. 42 out of these scored 90% and above marks, 42 again between 80 to 90% and only four students being with less than 70% marks.

  • Ankita Negi with 98% marks was the school topper
  • Gauri Sharma stood 2nd with 96.75%.
  • Abhishek Negi stood 3rdwith 96.5% marks

All students were placed in first division.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

  • In the Quiz competitions our school team bagged 1st Position at Hope Town School and third position at the Milestone competition held at St. Georges School Mussoorie.
  • In the Quintessence, the Inter School Quiz Competition held at our school in which 21 teams participated, our school team won the first position taking away three lap tops as the first prize.
  • In a Quiz competition held at Welham Girls School, our school team was the winner followed by Welham Girls' School.
  • In the Inter School Hindi Debate, wherein 13 schools participated, Amitabh Bhatt won the first position.
  • Our School team comprising Ashish Deopa and Shreya Kumar Tyagi took part in the Quiz Competition held The Indian Public School and won the first position.
  • In the USP Survivor Second edition, an enterprenual concept offering integrated marketing and branding solutions with nine rounds to contest, our School Team comprising Shreya Dimri, Kanjini Sharma, KritikaDobhal and Gyatri Mehta won the Team event with cash prize of Rs 20000/-. Shreya bagged the top position with over all trophy and a cash prize of Rs 20000/- individually.
  • In the All India Essay writing and extempore competition held at The Indian Public School in the memory of Pt BhanuPratapShukla,our School Team lifted the winners trophy and Amitabh Bhatt won the cash prize of Rs 10,1000/ and Gaurav Juyal was the combined Runner up and won the cash prize of Rs 25000/-.
  • Manasbani Pant of class VIII won the first position in the declamation and recitation contest of the PPSA. A virtually accomplished classical dancer she had the opportunity of performing her dance at the Youth Icon Award ceremony where Chief Minister was the Chief Guest and had the singular privilege of receiving the award from the CM of Uttarakhand.

SPORTS

  • The school has produced shooters who have secured their position at the National level. Two of our shooters have been selected for the National team in the competition held at New Delhi from 13 to 17th September 2014. Five boys and four girl shooters of our school represented the state of Uttarakhand. Asif Hassan and Srishti Bhargava have been selected for the All India National Schools Shooting Championship. At the State level competition held at Jaspal Rana Shooting Range, 5 of our shooters won 2 gold medals, three silver medals and one bronze medal. 11 of the shooters will be participating in the North Zone shooting competition.
  • In Badminton, Angella Gaur, Paras Rawat, Saksham Chhabra and Amir Khan won various positions at the District Level. In the DDCSA. Divyanshi Joshi secured third position and won bronze medal at the All India Sub Junior Ranking Tournament held at Kadapa in Andra Pradesh.
  • It was a matter of great honour for the school that it was selected as a venue for the conduct of All India Badminton Ranking Competition organized under the aegis of Uttarakhand Badminton Association
  • In the Basketnall discipline PrabhjitVirmani, Sakand Shukla and Sagrika Joshi represented Uttarakhand at the Inter-state Basketball Championship held in May 2014. Prabhjit was selected for the 65th junior (U-18) National Basketball Championship held at Kochi in Kerala from 26May to 02 June 2014.
  • In the Dehradun District U-16 TT Tournament our School won the first position. In the Singles VanshikaSaxena was the winner and Tina Rawat was the runner up.
  • The football team of the school took part in the DDCSA Competition and was the runner-up in this competition in which 19 schools took part.
  • The Girls' Football team took part in the school level competitions held at Hope Town School and Unison World School and played exceptionally well despite being novices in this sporting event.

MISCELLANEOUS

  • The school had organized a workshop named CHINH in movie making which was conducted by Meenakshi&Vineet couple. The students were trained and asked to choose a theme and make a small documentary, impromptu. It was amazing to see that the themes selected and converted into a short video clip were very appealing with conveying the requisite message like on foeticide, sexual harassment and ill effects of smoking. Children were exposed to understand the relevance of cleanliness, de-addiction and communal harmony.
  • Inspirational movies like 'I am Kalam' and 'The Making of Mahatma' were screened for the students with a view to connect them with their past and awaken in them the spirit of constructive nationalism. Bharatnatyam performance was given by RagniChandrashekharan, a renowned national and international dancer alongwith a question answer session under the aegis of SPICMACY.
  • The school organized a mega event on 17th May 2014 as Inter House Music and Dance Competition. It was fiercely contested competition and Mrs. SonalMansingh, an internationally acclaimed classical dancer, Padma Bhushan awardee was the Chief Guest.
  • A musical concert was organized in the School in which Ani Chowing Drolma, an internationally acclaimed singing nun and the First Peace Ambassador of UNESCO in Nepal gave a very heart rendering, motivational and inspirational rendition of the Buddhist music and the folklore. She gave an account of her own life as a bullied and deprived child who had to fled home to escape her torturous life. She run a Foundation at place 20 Km from Kathmandu and is heading the Monastery there.
