ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The school offers admission in classes LKG to class I, VI, VII and XI. Admissions in classes VII, VIII and IX are subject to availability. Admissions are not offered in classes X and XII. Admissions are strictly on merit and are usually made only once a year in April except under special circumstances which may necessitate admission at a later date.

1. A child seeking admission to the School must be registered by submitting the accompanying Registration form, duly filled in, along with the Registration Fee. The age criteria for registration of students for admission to various classes is as under:-

2. All candidates are required to undergo a test in English, Hindi, and Mathematics. For admission in class IX,the child would have to appear for an examination in Science also.

3. A student offered admission will be required to submit the following documents, failing which the admission will not be finalized.
Municipal Birth Certificate / Certificate from the last school attended.
For classes L.K.G. to 1st- 2 photographs of the child with parents. For classes 6 to 9- 2 passport size photographs of the child.

4. School-leaving Certificate (duly signed by the District Education Officer/Inspector of Schools if the School is situated outside Uttarakhand).

Progress Report/Mark sheet issued by the previous school. Mere registration and taking the examination does not guarantee admission. Admission will depend on the Child's performance in the entrance examination. The School reserves the right to refuse admission to a candidate without assigning any reason whatsoever.

PARENTS OF FOREIGN/OVERSEAS STUDENTS MUST ENSURE THAT THEIR CHILD POSSES VALID PASSPORTS AND RESIDENTIAL PERMITS AND THAT THEY ARE RENEWED FROM TIME TO TIME. THE SCHOOL WILL NOT UNDERTAKE THEIR RESPONSIBILITY OF PROCURING/RENEWING THESE DOCUMENTS.

Withdrawals
DAY SCHOLARS

If a student is to be withdrawn after the Annual Examination in March, one month's notice must be given, that is, by the end of February, otherwise fees will become payable till June. If a student's rejoins school in April and then seeks withdrawal, fees will become payable up to December to partially compensate the School for loss due to the seat remaining vacant for the whole academic year.

BOARDERS

If a student is to be withdrawn after the Annual Examination in March, three months' notice must be given, that is, by the end of December, otherwise fees will become payable up to June. If a student rejoins School in April and then seeks withdrawal, fees will become payable up to December to partially compensate the School for loss due to the seat remaining vacant for the whole academic year.

If a student (Boarder or Day Scholar), who has been admitted to Class IX or Class XI, seeks withdrawal while studying in or after Class IX and XI, he/she will have to pay full fees up to the end of Class X or Class XII, as the council does not allow admission in Class X and Class XII.

Transfer and other certificates will not be issued until all school dues are fully cleared
